Hand Plane Tune-Up You will be
shown how to prepare a plane for use. You will learn how and when to flatten the
plane, how to adjust the frog, and how to adjust and sharpen the blade. You are
encouraged to bring in a plane of your own or you can work on one of our shop planes.
At the end of class you should be able to create a continuous thin shaving from one
end of a board to the other and it should be transparent enough to read through. |
